Cherryville Baptist Church Sunday School
I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. (John 17:14-19)
In a world of increasing strife, I thank God for Sunday School. Here, the Truth is made known; here, eternal things are valued; here, we draw nearer to the peace found only in Christ Jesus. There continues to be a special bond among those who participate in the Sunday School Program of Cherryville Baptist Church. Here, we make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:3). If you have not known the blessing of Sunday School in your lives, Come! And let him who hears say, Come! Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life (Revelation 22:17). Come learn of the peace offered through our Savior, Jesus Christ, Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30).
